Three things on this site go stale faster than the rest, so they are on a shorter cycle.
- 1 Immigration rules Visa exemption and visa on arrival terms change with policy. Always confirm close to your travel date as well.
- 2 Villa rates Seasonal, and revised by operators more often than a published range suggests.
- 3 Seasons and weather April to October dry, November to March wet. The pattern is stable; the edges of it are not.
- 4 Anything a reader flags If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will correct it rather than argue about it.
If we cannot source a figure, we leave the space empty rather than fill it with a plausible one.
Where it comes from
- 01 Official sources for rules Immigration, visa and marriage requirements come from Indonesian government sources, not from forums.
- 02 Published rates for prices The USD 3,330 to 6,370 band is what the operator publishes. It is a range because it is a range, not a rounded guess.
- 03 First hand for properties Villas and venues we name are ones the desk has visited or booked.
- 04 Named, not implied Where a specific property or package is mentioned, it is named so you can check it yourself.

- Prices here are indicative. A firm quote comes from the operator for your dates.

- Bali has far more villas than any site can cover. Absence from this one is not a judgement.
